Le Corbusier and Anthropophagy

A series of six international conferences (Da/UAL 2019/2020) on the practice of contemporary architects: Marcel Breuer, Luis Barragán, Le Corbusier, Denise Scott Brown, Frank Gehry and Paulo Mendes da Rocha. On May 15, 2020, a conference was held by Daniela Ortiz dos Santos, Assistant Professor at the Art History Department of the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and a Scientific Coordinator of the Center for Critical Studies in Architecture, a research cluster between the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM), the Technical University Darmstadt and the Goethe University. She is the author of the dissertation Routes of Modernity or the Americas of Le Corbusier (ETH ZURICH, 2017) and co-curated the exhibition “Moving Constructions” at Garagem Sul, CCB, Lisboa (2019). She is a co-editor of the proceedings of the CCSA Bauhaus Lecture Series, entitled “Bauhaus Clouds”.
