Thirteen students from the Goethe University Frankfurt participate in an excursion and workshop that propose a critical look at the ideas of dwelling and landscape in heritage areas of Madrid. This project considers a transversal approach between art and urban history, agency, socio-politics and public debate. Students will be part of a series of activities; including group discussions, city walks and visits to architectural and cultural institutions.
Developed in the scope of a Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP), it involves the Architectural Schools of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and the Politecnico de Milano, as well as the Art History Department of the Goethe University Frankfurt.
The team of lecturers from the Art History Department are Carsten Ruhl, Daniela Ortiz dos Santos and Stefanie Heraeus.
We will be able to welcome 15 students. Please note that, if there are many students interested in attending this excursion, we will need to establish a selection process and an evaluation criteria.
